We hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break. We are continuing the Becoming A Responsible Teen (BART) section of Tribal PREP. The topic for session #8 is learning assertive communication skills. The focus of session #8 is to discuss communication techniques that can help the youth make clear decisions in risky situations. We have two fun activities called "Decisions and Negotiations" & "Different Communication Styles" planned for Monday. We look forward to seeing everyone next week. - End of the Program Celebration: Friday June 28th @ Knotts Berry Farm amusement park. We will be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Make-up sessions will be held at the Youth Center starting on May 13th.
- We will have $10 Target, AMC, Starbucks and McDonalds gift cards for all participants.
- We will begin distributing or last round of $25 gas cards to those families who carpool.
