We hope everyone enjoys the great weather this weekend. We are continuing the Becoming A Responsible Teen (BART) section of Tribal PREP. The topic for session #10 is Personalizing the Risks of HIV/Teen Pregnancy. The focus of session #10 is watching a documentary about Native American individuals effected by HIV and teen pregnancy. We have two powerful videos called "Teen Parent Panel" & "HIV Positive Testimonial" planned for Monday. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday. - We are planning a celebration for all parents and youth at the end of the 12th session. We will have dessert & present Tribal PREP certificates to all the youth.
- End of the Program Celebration for those who complete all 12 sessions: Friday June 28th @ Knotts Berry Farm amusement park. We will be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Make-up sessions will be held at the Youth Center starting on Monday May 13th.
- We will have $10 Target, Starbucks and McDonalds gift cards for all participants.
- We are distributing or last round (2 remaining) of $25 gas cards to those families who carpool.
