Do you need to complete community service hours for school? In collaboration with the Operation Samahan Youth2Youth Program, members of the San Diego American Indian Health/Youth Center can get up to 8 hours of community service in one day!On Saturday, October 2nd, as part of the 6th Annual FilAmFest (the picture at right is from last year's Festival), volunteer youth will serve as "Trash Talkers," educating and demonstrating to Festival attendees the importance of environmental health, sanitary practice and recycling. We have a limited number of applications, so if you're interested, send an email or stop by the Youth Center to sign up! This opportunity is for youth 13+.
